I thought I was the only one. I too have a notepad next to my bed with scribbles on it. I too write entire posts in my head, funny and insightful, right up along the lines of Dooce. Then, when I can't take it any more I go online and read other people's blogs (yours included) until I can't bear staying awake for another minute.
