Okay, I bought these shoes on Friday and adored them at the time. They are red, YES! But, they aren’t too lady-of-the-night red or Dorothy there’s-no-place-like-home red. I also thought the detailing on the shoes was especially cute. Now though, I still LOVE them, but I’m kinda worried that when I wear them people are going to notice ONLY my shoes and not my winning personality and witty conversational skills.
These shoes were bought on the intention of wearing them to this little conference I’m attending next week, where I *might* meet some other women who I would like to impress. I don’t want to overhear anyone say, “Oh my, poor girl! Did you SEE her shoes?! What WAS she thinking?!”
I plan on wearing these shoes with dark wash jeans and a either black or brown shirts. Stacy and Clinton tell people that it’s okay to add a punch of color with THEIR shoes. Can I? Should I?
Please be honest…Yay or nay on the shoes?
PS. I bought these shoes at Payless…does that make a difference?

I think they are super cute – and would look great with dark jeans. My problem with shoes like that is I never know what to do with the sock situation – socks or no socks – and if socks – what kind/color/pattern/no pattern!?!?!?!

As long as you don’t pair them with a light blue apron or dress I say Yeah! They will look great with dark wash jeans.

That’s how cute they are.
Beckies last blog post..Wired for Noise is giving away a breast pump!
Those shoes are fabulous! I might have to go get myself a pair.
They will look awesome with jeans. And if anyone has anything to say behind your back about you and your red shoes, it will only be to spread the word on how darn cute you look.

As with any Payless purchase, those shoes could be out of style by August and it won’t matter if you only wore them once, they were cheap.
Then again, I have gotten stuff at Payless that I fully intended would only be useful once and have turned into my favorite pair of shoes.
PS) If you do want glittery red no-place-like-home shoes, there are some at Target, my daughter has a pair. You might have to go down a size or two to squeeze into ‘em though.
Yay on the shoes. Very cute!
Headless Moms last blog post..July 4, 2007
I love those shoes, I have almost the same exact pair (also from Payless…) I’ve worn them several times with dark jeans, a black skirt, and khaki pants. Everyone loves them when I wear them.
I personally love shoes and think the right pair of shoes with the outfit makes someone seem all that more charming and whitty because they took the time and put the effort into finding the right shoe.
But that’s just me.

Yay on the red shoes! Love Stacy and Clinton! Yay for Payless too, no one will know where you got them, nor do you need to tell!

If people are staring at your shoes, just tell them “My eyes are up here buddy!” And you’re one step ahead if you see any evil green women – just click your heels three times. I would be one of the evil green women except I won’t be in SF (hence my green-ness) but even then, I’d think they were great shoes:) Have fun next week.

I’m thinking that I’ll have to run down to payless and see if they have them in my size. They are Cute! And would definately look great with dark jeans. I love red shoes, I have several pairs.

It has been established that they are cute, but the real question is are the COMFORTABLE? If so, then keep them and wear them with SASS! If not…..take ‘em back. I have bought quite a few pair of colorful cute shoes that were NOT comfy and I have gotten blisters from h-e-l-l, and since they are for your “little conference” you really want them to be comfy. My 2 cents.
abunslifes last blog post..My Pups Smiled
Super duper cute. I have a few (yes a few) pairs of red shoes. Perfect with black or brown – also adorably cute with denim.

abunslife, they are surprisingly comfortable! I just can’t do uncomfortable shoes.

Not only do I love the shoes, I think I’ll be looking for the person wearing those shoes at that little conference. Now, I’m feeling pressure to pick up my own pair of cute little (okay a size 10 isn’t little) shoes, as well.

I think a pair of red shoes is JUST THE THING to spice up dark jeans and a black shirt.
rimaramas last blog post..I Saw Some Fireworks
They are ADORABLE. I need to find a payless so I can get some. I say jeans and black shirt. Or white if you own such a thing that isn’t stained. (I don’t)

I likes them! You can so pull that off with a skirt or capris.

Hmmmmm. My intial instinct is WAY CUTE. However, it’s hard to say w/out seeing them on.
That said, if I bought these shoes for myself, my mother would HATE them. She thinks the Mary Jane strap cuts your feet off. But what does she know?

Aff, you think I can wear them with capris, too? Maybe I’ll get more than one wear out of them after all!
If anyone else would like to chime in as to whether they could be worn with capris ALSO, let me know!
LOVE them! And whee you bought them makes no difference.

I had a pair of red wedges that The Hubs affectionately referred to as my hooker shoes. But they were about four inches higher than yours. Yours are cute. And I was totally seeing them with dark jeans and a neutral shirt. Tres chic!

I’ve owned a pair of gorgeous red flats for a number of years now. I always pair them with jeans/black shirt. It just makes that combo I bit more special. Definitely would work with capris as well!

The shoes I wear with my tuxedo are from Wal-Mart. Best tux shoes I’ve ever worn.
I think they are good. Now red high heels would make you look like a hooker. I would go with a black shirt though instead of red.

I’ve worn them with jeans and a navy dress so far….
VDogs last blog post..Weekly Winners ~ First Week of July
Hell, Yes!
I’d definitely wear them with jeans. There is nothing quite like red shoes. One of my favorite colors. You know how they say “blondes have more fun” well I say “women in red shoes have more soul (sole???)”
Vickis last blog post..Monday, Monday
I am loving them. And yeah I think capris would work. A dark wash jeans or black capris.
You know…I am not a shoe person so I can’t really say. I try not to go anywhere where I can’t where my sneaks.
Sandys last blog post..I missed this…or is it just the hormones?
Ugh I can NOT talk today. I meant dark jean capris or black capris.
I need to go back to bed!
they will look rockin’ with the new haircolor, no matter what you wear!
I love those shoes! I tried them on, but they made my feet look stumpy.
