Third times a charm

Yes, more random thoughts! I know you’ve all been at the edge of your seat!

My in-laws are coming this weekend and we are putting them to work painting Peanut’s new room and putting together his new furniture. It totally pays to be pregnant in times like these!

Amanda brought hummus yesterday and now I can’t stop thinking about it. MUST BUY HUMMUS SOON.

I’ve been turning off the TV everyday from 10 ish until 3 ish and have been listening to my CDs. I forgot how much I liked the music I had.

We’ve tried several times in the past few weeks to eat at Guido’s/Vinny’s downtown. It’s been mysteriously closed each time we’ve tried. Damn it.

I mentioned that I covet all this in the PB kids catalog. I also covet most things at Target. Especially the little girl clothes. I still haven’t bought ONE GIRL THING. I’m dying!

I am commandeering the laptop. It’s MY turn.

Laundry is never-ending.

I just started my bookclub book and it is absolutely terrific, so far. I don’t even think I’ve finished the first chapter, it’s that good.

Did you know that an excellent place to store unwanted banana and waffle is the top of your head? Just ask Peanut.

I am such a fish out of water when it comes to this Mardi Gras business. In the midwest, Mardi Gras was a one-night pub crawl where you paid $5 to get into all the bars downtown. They passed out beads when you went in and played “louisiana style” music. There weren’t any balls. There was maybe one parade. Children did NOT get out of school.

Maybe a Mardi Gras themed myspace layout for my page would get me in the spirit.

Part deux: Random Thoughts

What in the hell kind of name is Caillou? No one else on the show has such a stupid name.

I’ve probably offended someone by saying Caillou is a stupid name.

We got our new laptop and it is AWESOME!!!

Thank goodness my parents’ power came back on today. I couldn’t take another conversation full of my mother’s bitching.

Back to Caillou, why doesn’t this 4 year old have any hair? Did I miss the episode that explained his alopecia?

I am sick of drinking water.

I covet most things in Pottery Barn Kids catalog. Too bad they don’t have “win it” days, I seem to be lucky at winning stuff lately.

Speaking of winning stuff, my Rockin’ Baby Pouch came. It is so cool. Hope Petunia likes it cause I’ll look silly wearing it sans child.

Sorry to fixate on PBS shows, but Thomas and Friends is full of the whiniest damn characters in the whole world. Do they ever stop bitching? I despise this show and try to shield Brendan from EVER watching it for fear he will love it.

Did you know that foam soap is a rip off. You can make your own with water and regular liquid soap. They had me fooled for a while, but I caught onto their ploy of making me buy water.

I should probably go play with Peanut, he’s walking around in circles.

Random thoughts

I smell like an orange creamsicle. Thanks, Mom, I guess, for the orange scented body goops.

Why doesn’t Tate know how to nest our pots and pans?

I’m B-O-R-E-D.

Peanut has learned to say “no”. Oh joy of joys.

Peanut has dropped a nap. Oh crap.

My NEW laptop was shipped today, maybe I can actually get on chat in the evenings and I won’t be so B-O-R-E-D.

The only thing thawed out for dinner is venison. I’m not too fond of venison.
I’m going for a walk when Peanut wakes up.

During my last ultrasound (I’ve had 3 already), they found a calcification spot on my little girl’s heart. My dr. swears it’s nothing, but I’m a smidge worried. Having another ultrasound in 3 weeks.

I would love to have a beer right now.
