The other day, Carson became very insistent, saying “Ya you!” Tate and I just smiled and nodded at him since we were clueless as to what he was saying.
But he was persistant. “Ya you! Ya you!!”
We were also persistant, kindly nodding and smiling. Still clueless.
Finally, he got up and ran to his room. When he returned, he was carrying a book.
Guess How Much I Love You.
He was trying to say, “I love you.”
And just when I thought my heart couldn’t take anymore sweetness, last night at dinner he said to his sister, “Ya you baby Ella.”
It’s official. My heart has melted.

Isn’t that the best! When we went to Strasburge a few weekends ago we went to The Cracker Barrel for dinner. Babyhead turned to me and out of the blue said, “I lul you mommy.” and gave me a kiss. It was all I could do not to break out into tears! LOL Up until this point he only said ” I too” when you told him you loved him first…so I was on cloud nine when I was the first person he just out of the blue said I love you to.

Wow…sweet and smart. I don’t know what impresses me more…his telling you all that he loves you, or his ability to figure out a way to get you to understand him.
Give that little one a hug from Blogging Auntie Christine ;).
