Haiku Overwhelmed

Haiku Friday

Made a to-do list
I ignored the to-do list
Now I am scu-rewed

Making the icing
Decorating the cupcakes
It will take all day

My house is a mess
I don’t have time to shower
Stinky all around

Ella up three times
She was sleeping through the night?
I could use a nap

No time to myself
Already three weeks behind
Reading your haiku

Will try to catch up
By the year 20-09

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky below with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina or myself.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

  1. I just planned Lillian’s second birthday, and I don’t have an infant waking to nurse 3 times a night. My hat is off to you!

  5. Procrastination is like masturbation - feels good while you’re doing it, but in the end, you’re only screwing yourself!

I love that line; but I don’t think you’re screwed - I think we as mothers can make time slow down a bit so we cam magically get everything done. Like Hiro from Heroes.

  9. Great haiku!

All of the running around for the parties is a pain but worth it all when their little faces light up. :)

  11. Id die without a to-do list. I agree.. you’re brave to plan a party with a baby. We did Livs at a salon as a prepackaged deal, all I had to do was buy presents and show up!
