Haiku Already?

Haiku Friday

Six months old today!
Still only 11 pounds
So tiny you are

First few months were hard
Such a feisty newborn girl
Thought I’d lose my mind

All is better now
Your smile, your charm, your laugh
You make me just melt

I have worries, though
Milestones not being met
Please sit up, won’t you?

Baby girl, love you!
I’ll keep you safe, gently guide
Stay feisty! Stay sweet!

Oh yeah, one more thing
It’s time to sleep through the night
You are six months old!

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky below with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina or myself.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

Wow. Better than a haiku is a collection of haiku about a baby — with sweet pictures! Thanks! And you look mahvelous!

Happy 6 month birthday little adorable girl. She will do everything in her own time my girls have really taught me that (i imagine you don’t want to hear that Rebecca was two before she slept all night do you?)

What a cutie! Neither of mine sat up before 8.5 months. Mine didn’t walk until 14 months either. Don’t worry.

    She is beautiful!

I wouldn’t worry about the timing of milestones. Cordy didn’t sit up until she was 8 months old. She did everything late, while Mira is doing everything early. She’s probably working more on mastering logic and reasoning before putting energy into her physical skills.

And sleeping through the night? I’m wishing for that, too!
