Have I ever told you all how much I loathe David Caruso?
Well, I do.
His character, Horatio, on CSI: Miami makes my skin crawl. I’d like to kick him and his sunglasses wearing, dramatic slow-talking, one-liner self in the balls.

I was all geared up for a brain dead post, then Google stuffed me over. I got to write an angry post instead.
I can’t stand him either. Without him, I’d really like the show. I just despise the one liners he gives… Mr. I am the king of the world crap.

ok my thoughts on David Caruso. I LOVED him in NYPD, I thought he did a great job of playing a NYC cop (my dad was NYPD for over 40 years - still working) they way DC was in that show was good. Then CSI came and I am not sure what happened. Those lines, glasses and looks are unWATCHABLE.I know they have a whole YOUTUBE vid of all his one liners…..i won’t watch CSI….mainly b/c of him.
I don’t watch the show for all you mentioned above and I also can’t stand to look at his face.

My DH and I talk like Horatio sometimes just for laughs. He’s so frickin’ annoying on that show. I had to stop watching it, too.
I had to stop watching it too!! He annoys the CRAP out of me!! I’d watch CSI: NY…but I always forget it’s on in place of Project Runway, or Top Chef.

I didn’t even get through the first season with that jerk. Can’t stand him! I stay with the original CSI and am particularly happy that Sarah’s left because I didn’t like HER either LOL

I watched last night (b/c the football game was LAME) and laughed my head off at him. When they do the “serious” shots of him with his hands on his hips…come on.
Oh I hate him!!! We stopped watching CSI Miami because he is just so distracting. Him.. and his sunglasses… and his silly tilted head pose. Yuck.
I can’t stand the way he pushes his sunglasses down and looks at the camera and says some stupid line like ” We will see, We will see.” I love the show, can’t stand him. I am glad NYPD Blue didn’t give him the money he asked for and got rid of him!
Yes, he creeps me out too.
I stopped watching all the CSI shows about a year ago. Nothing like real life so they totally bug me.
I absolutely agree. & the thought that he has red pubic hair freaks me out even more. (I have no idea where that came from, it just came out as I typed)

Uh-Oh! I’m a total outsider on this one. I just love his character– cheesy, overdone, ridiculous…it’s really why I watch CSI Miami. I always get a good chuckle out of his lead up line to the intro music…

and that is why i don’t watch csi:miami. because i hate that red-headed mutant. i find him to be so vile to look at…and i hate vile!
Oh he is such a tool…. I wouldn’t touch him if he were rolled in chocolate and caramel. (and I am truly DESPERATE these days!)
Did you know that there is a CSI: Miami drinking game dedicated to drinking each time Horatio does something ridiculous? You are guaranteed to get drunk after the first 15 minutes.
I hate him as well, but can’t stop watching him - it’s like a bad car accident. You want to look away, but curiosity gets the better of you. There was a soap on NBC that was like that - Passions - I used to watch to see just how bad it would get.
Um, I love you. No really I do. Because I GET THIS SO MUCH I SCREAMED WHEN I READ IT. (And yes, that’s what I do when I relate to something so much it feels like someone stole the thought from my head).
You know every time I see him I remember the first season of South Park where Kyel’s little brother did his imitation of David Caruso’s career by jumping out of a hovering space ship and landing on his head. You just could never take him seriously after that. And, God is he every annoying!
Oh my gosh! I was watching a rerun of that show on A&E today and the Great Tiny Sunglassed One said such a fabulous stupid one liner that I made my husband drop what he was doing to watch it on the rewind.
He was talking to a guy about fibers he left on a dead body and said, “I’m the fiber king. I’m. The. Fiber. King.”
I was overwhelmed. I wonder how many times they had to reshoot that scene because the “bad guy” couldn’t stop laughing…
Lame or not, I am so with you on the Caruso front. I’m a crime show addict, but I just can’t watch that one, and it’s all his fault.

He ruined that show for me. Have you ever seen the guy on The Soup make fun of him? It’s awesome - he keeps whipping his sunglasses off and pausing dramatically.
