Hungover Haiku

Haiku Friday

A caged animal
freed! Bring on the beers, bar maids!
Live band, beer, heaven!

Blue Moon, so tasty
1 beer, 2 beers, 3 beers, 4
Room begins to spin

Everything’s funny!
Everyone’s my new best friend!
Let’s drink some more beer

A wise husband stops
“No more drinks, Jennifer”
Party is over

Three beers too many
Seemed like a good idea
Cold bathroom floor waits

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky below with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina or myself.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

Oh, how I LOVE Blue moon. It is my favorite. I was thinking of skipping Christmas and buying myself a kegerator and locking myself inthe bedroom.

Sorry you don’t feel well. Have a beer, if you can get it down. The hangover will be gone within 30 minutes.

I haven’t tried Blue Moon, but I’m not big into specialty beers.

Sounds like you had a great time, though.

Eat some greasy food and take a nap when the kids do. Not that I have any experience with hangovers and mommying, of course.

Ah the Blue Moon. Glad you had a good time! Though the bathroom afterwards, I’m guessing not so fun.

Three too many? Oh, dear. I hope you didn’t hug the white goddess all night. That is NOT how to spend holidays with family!

I’m actually a little jealous of you, hangover and all! A bar! I haven’t been in one of those in ages!

The cold bathroom floor always feels so good when you’re sick. Or am I just weird?

I can’t say that I have ever had a Blue Moon but I am fond of cold beer and that delightfully funny phase. It sounds like a great time!

Now water and advil are your best friends.

I’m actually slightly jealous of your hangover. Me and my fake mimosas just weren’t kickin’ it this year.

Posting haiku with 31 minutes to go. I’m such a slackass.

That’s how I felt last weekend, minus the cold bathroom floor. I drank myself silly at the wedding just because I could (and it was an open bar). However, it seems I still have my tolerance for alcohol, so I held up pretty well.

Hope your head and stomach are feeling better.
