Lip Schmackahs

It’s possible that I really am reverting to a tween.  Not only am I zitty and sassy, I couldn’t resist buying myself some flavored lip smackers that I found in the clearance section at the grocery store.

Root beer, Cherry, and Black Cherry Vanilla.  (I’m, like, so bummed that two of them have a hint of cherry.  Why couldn’t one of them been, like, Dr. Pepper, ya know?)

But it was only $2.49 on sale!  They were practically giving them away.  I have no idea what the original price was, but who cares!  It said it was on sale!

What’s next?  Am I going to start playing High School Musical on a loop and pretending that the pillow that I’m kissing  is Zac Efron?  Am I going to start dreaming of being just like with Hannah Montana?  Am I going to go into mourning now that there won’t be anymore episodes of Zoey 101?

I have NO comment as to how I even know anything at all about Zac Efron or Hannah Montana or Zoey 101.   Just shut up, okay?  Seriously!

(Remind myself of my to do list:  GET A LIFE.)

You need the gigantic Hershey bar lipglosser to go with those! I could eat that whole tube of goodness… if I bought stuff like that. Which I don’t. Noo- never.

Root beer chapstick?!? Good times. Hello 1980!

I have no clue who Zac Efron is. I only know Hanna Montana because she was on Oprah…oh god, when did I turn so suburban?

Lip Smackers are my go to lipstuff for a night out with the girls, quick trip to the store, and even presentations for work! Shine, just enough color to be flirty, yet not obvious, and yummy to boot. I have it on good authority that Dr. Pepper and Strawberry have been responsible for at LEAST a make out session (in the last year) and other girls smile at the fond memories when seeing those special little tubes of goodness.

And one of my guy friends buys Dr. Pepper for himself now. I don’t ask questions.

Haha! I totally stocked up on lip smackers at the Walmart after Christmas sale. Would you like Sugared Plum or Berries and Cream? And I may or may not have bought some Hannah Montana lip gloss that may or may not be for my niece.

Growing up, my sister used to buy Lip Smackers like they were going to be rationed in the near future. She had over 100 different kinds. like you could ever use 100 different kinds of gloss?
I stole the chocomint glitter one. She never noticed.

I love those things. There is nothing wrong with still being a tiny bit of a kid inside.

Now I have an excuse as to why I know who Hanna Montana is and all that stuff. However, I don’t think there’s a thing wrong with knowing kid culture. Makes you cooler in their eyes.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Plus dude, Ella is gonna love you when she hits 3. You will be sooooo cool to her. :)
