LOL hey what is wrong with being a Cubs fan? I am sure you are going to love your new town. IN is not a bad little place to live. People are friendly and it is not too noisy. first of all…you and your hubby made some seriously cute kids!!!
second…i only moved towns but, that was hard…starting over, making new friends in my area, even though my old friends are only 20 minutes away. the good thing was having kids…they are a common denominator. through them, i’ve made a bunch of new friends…not the kind that won’t be friends with me anymore, when our kids go to different high schools but…real friends!! you’ll meet people in parks, at your preschools..you know the drill. it’s scary, i think…but, it always ends up just fine!!! besides, in indiana…you don’t have to worry about hurricanes and, imho…that would make the move, completely worth it!!!
besides, the midwesterners…we aren’t so bad!!!

I am now addicted to moving, so I'm slightly jealous of the chaotic, my-whole-life-is-in-boxes thing you're probably going through right now. I totally love the blank slate feeling of walking into a new house in a new city and making it "home" for a little while. It is stressful though and I hope it all goes well and you like your new town and your new house! By the way, I may be totally out of it, but I linked to your blog from my blog for Haiku Friday. cubs fans aren't so bad. their tenacity makes them pretty good people to be friends with. if they think the cubs can do well, they will also stick around when you are covered in spitup and have been up all night.... hang in there -- indiana is full of very nice people. and it's close to chicago if you get bored:-) phyllis's last blog post..Facts About Trees & Green GIVEAWAY
