Haiku Friday

Last Haiku Friday
Until I get settled in
Pray I have wi-fi

Since I don’t know if any of my new neighbors in our temporary housing will be stupid enough nice enough to have unsecured wi-fi and let me “borrow” it, I may not have ready access to Internet. *wails*

Losing the Internet is almost as traumatic as the whole move itself. *sobs*

Go see Christina to sign Mr. Linky next week and every week after that until further notice. *sniffs*

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky below with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina or myself.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

Do you have a laptop? We always go to Bread Co. (St. Louis/Panera Bread) when we’re out of town for some good old free internet time.
Yay- Midwest here you come! Once you get settled in, I’m sure a trip to your home state won’t be far off!

    January 18, 2008 at 11:14 am

holy cow, this move is coming up fast! you must document. when I helped my mother move from Phoenix to Boston, she decided to save money and use with a 37 foot U-haul and a 10 ft. car trailer towed on the back, instead of movers. She and I drove that damn thing for 6 days across country with a bird, a dog and a cat in the cab with us. really thought that would be the end of me. but it wasn’t .

I hope your trip goes smoothly. At least you won’t be in a small truck cab for 6 days with your mother.

McDonald’s playlands are Wi-Fi equipped these days. Carson can play & you can surf. Ella? she can fuss!

I spent a week parking outside the library everyday with the kids watching a DVD.

Sad but true. Sometimes we get desperate to score some free Wi-Fi!

In other words, no hiatus for you, Missy!
