Cute Outfit, What Not To Wear, and Peeps

Ella looked precious in her Easter dress.

Carson found his Thomas the Train oufit I bought for him and demanded that he wear it while hunting for Easter eggs.  To minimize the screaming, we compromised and let him wear it OVER his Easter outfit.  It wasn’t the look I was going for.

This is Carson hopped up on Peeps. This was the best picture that we got of them together. (Again, it wasn’t the look I was going for.)

Pssst…Carson didn’t really have any Peeps.  The above picture demonstrates why.

The pictures were adorable even if not what expected.

  8. Peeps should be illegal for children- hopped up, indeed! There is nothing scarier than a kid running on pure high fructose corn syrup.

  9. Ella’s a doll! I love her hair sticking up at the back, so cute!

Carson’s picture made me laugh. He looks like he’s coming after you! And what good is a Thomas costume if you can’t wear it on high days and holidays?

  10. Looks like lots of fun was had by all. And I think Carson’s just starting a new Easter clothing trend. It’s better than the whole no white shoes before Easter. His trend is much more fun.

  13. Your kids are so cute. Of course I really like the one with Carson having a raging peeps rush! HA! My little one says she is too old for Easter dresses, AH for the days, where she had to wear what I put on her.

  18. Your kids are adorable, as always! That last picture clearly demonstrates the huge differences between most girls and boys….even at such an early age! Mine were always naturally hopped up, while my friends’ daughters were always really subdued. At least by comparison.

  21. Damn, don’t you hate it when you have in your head how cute your child is going to look in the new cute outfit you have for them. Then they veto you and throw a fit until you give up and let them wear what they want. My son has these Spiderman moon boots that were only supposed to be for snow but he wears them with everything. And of course they are so big his pant legs don’t fit over them. Thank goodness he’s only 4.5…that way he won’t get teased too much.

Fun pics! Hope Y’all had a wonderful Easter!

  22. Cute pics! I bought my girls matching dresses. My 4 year old wore 5 outfits throughout the day. None of them were her Easter dress. The picture of both kids together, dressed and happy is some sort of urban legend.

  25. Aw! How cute!!!
Oh, Peeps. Whoever invented them must NOT have had children. They are the bane of my Easter existence. (Because all the “Grands” feel the need to get them for my kids. - ugh) I refuse to succumb to their adorable/innocent appearance, for I know what truly lurks underneath all their sugary spackle. CA-RAZY kids!!!!

Boy are yours so cute in their Easter Best, though. Thomas and all!! :-D Hope it was a good one!

  29. Love the past PeepedUp photo!

I gave up LONG ago on trying to get kids to wear specific outfits…all I insist on now is that they look “nice.” ie, no holes, no milk stains, no gaping rips, ….. It’s made life much easier.

    Enjoy,

    Barbara
