Yeah, I held out with my first and didn't give him any processed sugar until age 2. 1/2 Then the second child was not quite 2. How cute! That last photo, with Ella in the background, that's one of those candid moments that are so priceless. Once a month my daughter and I go to pay the mortgage at the bank, and she knows that the drive-thru lady has lollipops, which she calls "suckers". So I have to listen to her ask over and over for a sucker the whole time we're waiting. She knows that once the canister thing comes back with my deposit slip, it will have a sucker in it! I have a secret: Sacha has had MANY lollipops in his 20 months. In fact, they pass them out at the end of mass to all the little kids. I think that's why he loves church so much.
