Here’s an update on my hair

This picture was taken at the end of a very hot, muggy day AND a day that I hadn’t even washed it. Now THAT is a testament to the sheer awesomeness of my hair. I do have to blow dry and flat-iron it everyday, but since it ends up actually looking good, I don’t mind fixing it everyday. With the shorter length and bangs, I have to get it cut more often. That’s not exactly a punishment since that just means I get to leave my house WITHOUT CHILDREN more often, so score 2 bonus points for me!
If you have an Aveda salon in your city, I’d HIGHLY recommend checking it out. You get a mini-massage before every haircut, and if you’re getting your hair colored you get a FOOT MASSAGE! Heaven! In case you happen to live in the same town as me, go see Kortney at our local Aveda salon.

Super, super cute! I finally have a haircut that mostly looks the same even after a very hard day at the end of a very hard week, and few things in life are better than that kind of consistency. You look awesome!

I lost my Aveda virginity in Salt Lake with Moosh in Indy . She always has the best ideas.
It.was.awesome.
Maybe I should hung out at Aveda for a scalp massage instead of the time I actually lost my virginity. It would have been a way better time.

Very cute! Love the Aveda salons…I finally found my new stylist yesterday after she did a fabulous highlight and actually LISTENED to me when I said I don’t have a lot of time or innate talent to do a lot to my hair. Yay!
BTW, if you have an Aveda institute in your area, you can get spa treatments, etc. for cheap. I figure that slps have to practice on victims before we’re licensed, why not give someone else the chance to give my old mug a facial?

Your cut is absolutely fabulous. I am ripped off though, I go to an Aveeda salon–no scalp massage, and definitely no foot massage. *sigh* I do wish I could pocket my stylist and have her do my hair every morning though.

Wow, your hair is great! That is what my hair is suppose to look like but only does when I walk out of the salon. I think it may because I wait 8-10 weeks before I get it cut again. I just can’t seem to pony up the $50 plus tip to get my hair done every 5 weeks and I’ve been burnt to many times by less expensive chains.

I just remembered, they don’t do scalp massages when you’re getting color–something about not irritating the scalp. So, they’re off the hook. Still loving your style.

Wow! I have worn my hair really short for about 30 years. It is now shoulder length and I am not all that happy with it. Maybe I will try a cut like yours. It’s gorgeous!
Except I HATE fussing. I really love wash and wear hair.

Very cute! I have an appt with my gal to get my hair cut on Tuesday eve. My hair is straight, fine, and lots of it…it is longer and with layers, but I end up putting it up in a clip most of the time or a pony tail, and when I go on photo shoots and meet with clients I know I am just screaming professional wanna be. So hubby and I talked and I told him I wanted to go shorter (not that I need his permission to cut the hair but once when it was short and I loved it, he didn’t and told me so…often) So hopefully I will be sporting a new do that everyone loves and will be easy for me to do, because i am so over the mommy updo!

I can also relate. You know I live in Hicksville USA, and I have in 5 years or more yet to find someone who can give me a decent (read, even straight!) haircut!
I’m in Ireland right now and have been to the hairdressers twice and will go back again next Saturday – yippee! I have a great cut, and got a fab colour last night – next week is a ‘wedding do’ – can’t beat it- being without the kids is the best part!
