Hi there I have a few questions: I have my blog through Blogger. I went to wordpress and created a blog with my handle (texan mama) hoping to redirect any searches to my blog at blogger. I don't know how to do that in the settings on wordpress. Any ideas? Also, do I need to actually do two separate blogs in order to keep the account at wordpress? I only sleep a few hours as it is now! Texan Mama's last blog post..No More Boring Breakfast!

Thanks for all of these helpful blogging hints. I’ve only been blogging a couple of months and I have so much to learn. When i set up my blog I googled names and didn’t see any blogs with my name, so I left it what it was. I’ve never been very fond of it, but I couldn’t think of anything else. Then after reading your post today, I checked google again and found a blog with almost an identical name at wordpress. They haven’t updated in 2 years but I am so bummed. Now I have to think of a new name. How will I change the name and not lose my readers. i don’t have huge amounts yet, but i have given my url to so many people and would obviously have to let them know of the change.

Thanks, Jennifer! I think it’s likely that you just SAID my blog name wasn’t that bad because you felt sorry for me, especially since I couldn’t even type my comment properly (should have been “Andi’s Exciting Life: -insert hilarious subtitle here-”). But whatever, I’ll take it. I’m going to give a go at making the most of the title I picked instead of changing it, so now I’ll and try to make my nickname “Not So Exciting Andi.” Going to set up a new gmail address now…

I'm about to pull my hair out!! I need to rebrand my blog and quickly because I am making so many friends over at All Mediocre that already know me as The Chronicle but I didn't really like that name to begin with.....and now i'm on a couple blog rolls as that too.
