I’m typing this as I’m on hold to make an appointment with a doctor. Apparently my symptoms warrant me being seen TODAY, or tomorrow at the latest.
On Saturday, I noticed that I had some yellow discharge from one of my breasts. Of course in the back of my mind it could be, you know, SOMETHING BAD that starts with a C, or it could just be (and probably was) a plugged duct.
When they say they want to see me TODAY, it makes me think of that BAD thing that starts with a C.

I have an appointment at 2:40 TODAY. For my hopefully plugged and infected duct, and not, you know, something BAD.
FREAKING OUT.

I am a faithful reader of your, but don’t usually post. But, I just wanted to tell you that I am thinking about you today and that my fingers and toes are crossed that everything is ok. My gut tells me it’s just a clogged duct, so I’m going with that. I had a horrible case of mastitis with my second, and it ended up with oozing, too.

I was tested for “C” and ended up visiting a needle with an eighty bazillion gauge a dozen and a half times to drain the infection since it was not “C”.
I hope things turn out OK, but it’s hard not to freak the hell out. Crossing fingers, toes, and boobies for you.

It’s probably a good idea that a doctor sees you TODAY so the discharge can go away sooner and your boob doesn’t swell or cause you pain.
In the mean time stand in a hot shower and relax, relax, relax. Don’t read anything on wedmd. Clogged ducts suck, but not as bad as ideas that you can get from the web!
