I’ve stolen the idea for this post from Ali. I’m hoping that the extradition to Canada to face her wrath will be too complicated and she’ll forgo prosecution.
So now that we’ve gotten the fact that I’m a thief out of the way, I’d like to show you the contents of my purse. You’ll be pleased to know that none of the contents of my purse were stolen.
C.O. Bigelow Lemon Hand Treatment (LOVE!), 2 tubes of C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint (I’ve already talked about my love of these), 2 tubes of Lip Smackers (flashback: 1987), 3 packages of peanut butter crackers, a USB cord, 100 calorie pack of Lorna Doone cookies (they’re FOR THE KIDS!), my name tag from Blissdom ‘08, small bottle of 50 SPF Coppertone, Jessie Baylin CD (LOVE her!), trash, crumbs (not pictured), my cell phone, a maxi pad, an old grocery list, 3 coupons that are worthless, Skip Hop diaper caddy, my wallet, {***GIFT CERTIFICATE TO BUILD A BEAR!!!!!!****}, USB flash drive, baby nail clippers, 1 Germ-X hand wipe, 2 Dentabursts, a going away card from her, All About Trains DVD (what? don’t you carry DVDs in your purse?), my business cards, the formula from Aveda to color my hair, a juice box, a box of raisins, spare contact case, contact lens solution.

I do not tend to have food in my purse. If someone gives me something and I don’t have any other place to put it, it will go in my purse and tends to stay there until I realize I have way too much stuff in my purse. I have lots of random papers, receipts, coupons in there. Speaking of which, it’s probably about time I clean out my purse again!

No, my purse isn’t so random. I try to keep a small purse so that I force myself to not load it up. I can basically carry a wallet, checkbook, sunglasses, keys, and a lipstick. That’s about all that fits in there. It works for me!

I don’t actually carry a purse on a regular basis, but I do find interesting things in my pockets at the end of the day. Last night I had three mints from IHOP, a Burts Bees lip balm, two receipts from Target, one receipt from Michaels, and a size H crochet hook in my back pocket with my wallet

Sadly my purse is rather random. Make up that I don’t wear, inhalers for my kid, tampons, food, books, Canadian Tire money (more than the real money I should have in my wallet)……it’s all there and more.
I really need to carry the tiniest purse ever…but right now I have the black hole of bags.

I sort of stopped carrying a purse most of the time when my son was born b/c I’d just shove crap in the diaper bag. Now, it’s just necessities – cards, license, gum, keys, pens, cell phone, and sometimes a paperback book.

But usually they are: Laptop, Camera, USB cables and storage devices… diary, notpad, pens (LOADS when Vic doesn’t steal them), gum, energy/cereal bars, a bottle of whater, my glasses, sun glasses… ummm what else?

I am the worst purse content hauler-arounder until you NEED something random that I actually carry in my purse. You need some hydrogen peroxide? How about some Reeses Pieces? Or some cat treats? Yeah – I’ve found all those in my purse at one time or another. And those are the things I can mention!
I buy bigger purses with the ‘what if’ in mind that I just might need to carry such and such with me, just in case.
I need help.

Your purse is definitely more random then mine. I hate to carry a purse and usually just make sure it has my wallet, keys, and cell phone. But yes, random bits do accumulate in there–crayons from restaurants, pens I’ve stolen from the many places I’ve been (are ya missing one–I’ve probably got it!), and hair clips.
And guess what? In the winter I usually don’t carry a purse at all. The wallet, keys, and cell phone all fit in my coat pockets along with my gloves and chapstick. And the random bits? I’ve got PLEANTY of pocket room for those, too!

Take a gander inside MY purse-haha.
At the moment, I don’t even carry a purse, but when I do, it’s got my phone, Band-Aids, DVDs (yeah, me too, and not for the kids), phone/address book, gum (when I’m lucky), toothbrush/toothpaste (when I’m not), business/doctor’s cards, lip gloss AND lip balm (depending on the mood), snacks, random change jingling around, and occasionally, a dollar bill, my wallet (which, ironically, usually doesn’t have much $ in it-it’s all on the card)…oh, I could go on for days. Fun idea for a post-it’s always hilarious to see what’s hiding in people’s purses!
