Kitchen Vixen, The sales girl and I had a loooong discussion about the jeans needing to be altered. She also really pushed for me to get the J. Crew card…since she never once mentioned anything about altering, I’m guessing that either she didn’t realize that they could do the altering or that my store just doesn’t do that.

It wouldn’t have mattered, I still wouldn’t have gotten a J. Crew card just for the alterations!

Still, I am really curious if it’s just my store or if I had brain dead sales clerk!

I believe if you have a JCrew card, or if you open one with that purchase, the alteration would have been free. My friend bought a bridesmaid dress there and had it altered. But awesome job DIY’ing it!
